Finding motivation

We all know how hard it can be to gather up some motivation to work out from home. That's why we thought we would summarise 5 super easy ways that we use to get motivated whilst working out in the comfort of our own home.. 

1. Do the workout when you have the most energy. 

this varies for all people and you shouldn’t be made to feel bad if you’re not the type of person to bounce out of bed at 5am ready to lift heavy weights. If you can do a workout first thing in the morning it’s great as you can get this out of the way before any last minute life plans get in the way. Lunch times are a good time to squeeze in a workout whilst you’re at work. Evening workouts are also great to help you push through extra energy before bedtime helping you sleep better. Whichever you decide, you do it when you feel you enjoy it more/have the most energy.

2. Put on your fave workout gear. 

If you look good, you’ll feel good. Put on your fave workout gear and fake it ‘til you make it!

3. Put the best song list on to get your motivation up 

who doesn’t look a good song to help motivate them?! Why not put together a list of songs that make you want to get up and dance - most likely they’ll be the ones you enjoy listening to, lifting your mood and helping you get through that tough 20 mins.

4. Try and workout in a different room to switch it up 

if you’re working out from home you need to try and switch up the room you do your workout. Ideally you need somewhere with a bit of space so you don’t accidentally knock over any expensive vases!! You could try and do your workout in a different room than what you’d usually do this in to help reignite your workout regime.

5. If you have a long length mirror - use it! It's the best way to ensure your form is on point

Mirrors are a great way to check your form, but also can help motivating you by seeing how hard you’re working. Get a sweat on and get that body working!
